Well the update on the office is – nada. I ended up working on my kitchen and living room instead b/c we were having company over (the living room looks great)…. but I made no headway on the office. In fact, it’s now more junked up than before. I’m not looking forward to going through it but I will… eventually.
Anyway – I was looking at updating some frames this weekend and thought I’d purchase some photography since I seem to get tired of my own more quickly. I bought the first two below…
… and I’m still thinking about these other ones…
I promise to upload some pictures soon! The living room really does look much better… even the hubbs liked it.

I’ve been looking through my inspiration library and I picked out the colors I’d like to use for my home office. I plan to use the first row of colors to repaint the room and refinish my office desk. The second row is accent colors I’d like to use… I really like mixing gold with silver, black with brown, creme with gray.
More later with pictures of the pieces for the room and what I plan to do with them. I have my desk to sand, paint and distress… then a chair to reupholster. I also need to decide between these two rugs:
The rugs are both from IKEA and cost the same. Right now I’m leaning toward the stripe… I keep saving pictures with it in them.
Anyway, I’m going to go to home depot to get the paint today. I’m pretty excited

Morning! Wednesday is here and I’m getting excited about the weekend.
Onto another topic however: Outdoor Fabric. I’ve been all over planet earth looking for fabric for my cushions I’m recovering outside. Thought I’d post it here to see what you all think… ok. So here is a sketch I did really quickly of the pillow “arrangement”. Really original I know

And the next image is two ideas I came up with for color combinations. The wicker is kind of dirty white right now but I want to paint it a soft gray/brown.
My favorite part is the trim. My cat's are going to luv it... oh boy.
So that’s what I have stewing in my head. Which one do you all like better?
All in all I’ve been frustrated with the amount (or lack of) outdoor fabric I’ve found online. Plus – it’s all pretty pricey or unoriginal. What’s a girl to do??

I’ve been looking for something to put over my dining room table. Below is a recent picture of our dining room with the less appealing light fixture. Please don’t mind the photo quality! It was taken during a party. I was telling a story about how I was recently propositioned at a car wash… ughhh!

The esposo and I have a great screened in porch off of the kitchen that I love to sit outside in during the Summer. I’ve been tackling other rooms in the house and now my eye is set on this one. Right now – I’m trying to find inspiration b/c I’m a little confused as to what I want to do… My parents gave us some wicker furniture so I’d like to recover/paint it so it looks new… just not sure on the colors. Usually after I’ve gathered research – I can see a color scheme forming.
Most of these images I found are from Domino. I wish daily that that magazine was still in circulation. Sigh….

Well I hope everyone else is having a great Friday. Mine is off to an interesting start! I lost control on some ice this morning and 360′d my way through some cars (didn’t hit anyone though). Whew! Anyway… I’d like to share the whimsical prints from vol25′s Etsy Shop! So cute and fun don’t you think? I love the range of type used… but then again I have a serious attraction to Typography!!
